Review of Oak Crest Village
The facilities and options are astonishing. The large population of this community means they can offer amenities and features that wouldn't be possible in a smaller facility. There are at least a half-dozen dining options from buffet to cafeteria to fine dining to bistro and more. There are hundreds of clubs, activities, local and long-distance hosted travel opportunities and more. The facilities include woodworking and carpentry shops, a computer lab, a pottery kiln, fully-equipped excercise centers, swimming pool with water aerobics, several auditoriums, banquet facilities, in-house television station, an interdenominational chapel, libraries, banks, beauty shops and many continuing education classes. The well-maintained apartments provide a gracious living environment with state-of-the-art appliances and amenities. On-site healthcare services are comprehensive and readily available. The large staff is well-trained and accessible. I don't know of any other facility in the greater Baltimore/Washington area that offers anything better than what is found at Oak Crest Village.
