Rehabilitation & Recovery Centers

Facilities that provode short term care services can generally be divided in to two main types: Rehabilitation and Respite Care.

They are always provided by a licensed health care institution, very often a Skilled Nursing Facility. Rehabilitation is usually done post hospitalization.

Respite care provides care to to persons otherwise cared for in foster homes or in private homes to provide an interval of rest or relief of not more than thirty days to operators of foster homes or to family members.
