LCC is an out of state manangement facility. That should be a red flag. My mom was there after a serious sickness and stayed for 4 months. In that time, they had 2 hospital inspections that were unnannounced (according to the QT from the staff) and there was a very frequent staff turnover with a different aid every time we came which was a flag also.
That made me decide not to keep my parent there after therapy. The therapy was great. Bob is a super guy. The facility is clean. It is arranged nicely with a central grassy common area in the center. It is fairly new and the room was relatively roomy with a window that generally looked out on pleasant flowers, walkways, bushes, etc....but my parent kept having th'ngs stolen from her room. When my parent woke up to have a staff member going through their belongings in the middle of the night and said " You are not supposed to be here, get out!" The person told her to "Shut the hell up!" Enough said. I reported this and evidently nothing was done. We moved out as soon as possible.
Oh, we did not receive a bill until 6 month later! From Arkansas! Was for $9,000! When I asked for a breakdown of these charges they sent me a list of each month and what it was charged, not the details of what it was, only the dollar amount!!! Oh, thanks!!! THAT helped!
