Do most assisted living communities provide a linen service?

Crisp sheets and fresh towels are enviable amenities, and as such, many assisted living communities offer their residents a linen service, either as part of their rent or monthly fees, or as an additional service. In some communities, linen service is part of a broader package of services, which may include personal laundry cleaning or housekeeping services for the entire residence.

Linen service usually means residents receive clean bedding and bath linens, such as towels and washcloths, on a regular basis. The frequency can vary widely, so be sure to ask how often clean linens are provided if this service is available at your assisted living community of choice. While it may not be part of the services at every retirement community, linen service is likely one of the more popular amenities at assisted living communities, which are geared toward seniors who need a little help in their day-to-day lives while still maintaining some independence.
