Needing to find a group home for a parent is a very difficult and nerve-wracking experience. This is why I am adding my review on Amazing Care. I would definitely recommend Amazing Care group home as they provide quality care for my mom. The group home is inviting and comfortable and the caregivers are genuine and capable. I looked at various other group homes and found that Amazing Care had the best to offer my mom.

My mother will be 91 years old this November. She has had the extremely good fortune to have lived at Amazing Care Assisted Living for over the past 5 years. My husband and I extensively searched the entire area for an assisted living home that would meet our very high expectations. We are overjoyed at the wonderful life my mother continues to experience at Amazing Care. At Amazing Care my mother is not just a resident, she truly is part of a family. The owner, Maria Atienzo, provides a standard of care that is unequaled in our experience. Our family feels a great peace of heart and mind knowing that our mother is in Maria's loving care.

My Mother has lived at Amazing Care for over three years now. My sister and I would never give a thought to moving her to another facility. At Amazing Care, she is not only cared for but loved and is an integral part of a real family!
I'm sorry that others may not have had the quality experience that we continue to enjoy, but I thank God everyday for Amazing Care and its superb, caring staff.

Do not be fooled by this does not care for Alzheimer's patients unless they are permanently immobile, in a chair or in a bed. Do not take your loved one here if they are still walking or the slightest bit interactive. Out of the blue my father received a call from this place saying that they were throwing my mother out after 6 months because she was disruptive to some other residents. We never received a phone call or were told about this in person, they just decided that my mother was too mobile and they were worried about liability. This place is a home for old people whose families can no longer cope with is in no way, shape, or form a place for people with Alzheimer's. The owner decided when my mother went there that she needed to be taken off of all of her medication, which she did with my father's blessing. The lack of any medication to help her relax caused her to wander and pace even more. Rather than putting her back on some medication and giving her a chance to see if it would help, they just said that she had to leave. Essentially thrown out in the street. But, the owner would "recommend another home with a friend he knows" for which he would be given a "finder's fee". This did not father found a wonderful Alzheimer's facility in Sun City where my mom is now living and thriving. This horrible experience was probably a blessing in disguise, but as you know it is a very difficult and trying time when you are trying to find a home for your loved one. Do yourself a favor, don't even consider this place.
