I wished I would have known the level of care was VERY poor.

One only needs to look at the condition of the property where the owners live to see how little care your loved ones will receive at Angel Care. The owners DO NOT live on-site.

I will never use this company again. They do not follow their own plan of care. They left me hanging with serious medical issues.

My Mom has been at Angel Care Home for almost 2 months. She has COPD she is pretty much beds redden except when the staff puts her in a wheel chair, which isn’t often. I have complained to the owner /management which is showing a little improvement – they always have an excuse – short staffed as they seldom have more than 1 person working most of the time even when they are at max 10.
The food is NOT home cooked nutritious meals as stated – lots of white bread, takeout pizza, McDonald’s happy meals, can fruit, not many green veggies. Except for the weekend the staff member make more home cooked meals. They post a menu for the week as you walk in that is not updated timely or followed. It’s for show.
Do your home work and talk others as your first visit may be staged.

Response: This person is absolutely correct when they state.... Do your homework and talk to others. In my opinion, the first visit IS staged. The weekend staff is wonderful though. One person for 10 residents with dispensing meds, laundry, cooking, paperwork, phone calls to make and cleaning!!! NOT enough help in my opinion.

My mother has been at Angel Care Home recovering from brain surgery. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. It is a family owned business and I think that is why it seems less institutional than some others that I looked at.
In the beginning (maybe a week or 2) I was not incredibly happy with the food that was being served. The food is much better. Not sure what happened but it got fixed so that is all that matters.
I would recommend Angel Care Home, they have been great.
