I will remove my mother from this stinky smelly place asap. There is and african man who is extremely rude, and over all the staff id rude. The director tried to make me feel better and I did for about 15 mins but there is something wrong with this place. Something is just not right, i almost get the feeling that this african man could hit my mother when her family leaves.

Response: You aint seen nothing till you dealt with their speech therapy woman. I'm not sure where she parks her broom but this place while clean has a staff of characters and some of them from the dark side. Be careful and have a nanny cam in the room to keep an eye on them. Strange things happen in this place.

I moved my grandmother from the facility, due to the rudeness of staff, one specific, African Ameriacan worker Lecrshia, who said she was the staff social worker, asked a question, and she snapped at me, on my way out heard her making rude remarks about white people being uppity... took him out the next week.

Capri has an outstanding ventilator weaning program that had my wife making progress way ahead of what Scottsdale facilities said would take twice as long. The staff is not only friendly but really know their jobs and show it. The number of facilities willing to take patients on a ventilators, are far and few but this place far out shines the one in South Scottsdale. I for one chose quality over convenience and would highly recommend someone to look into Capri at the point rehab. The place is clean, the staff is outstanding, you almost feel its like a place away from home for a family member on the mend. Any issues that come up are handled so fast you know these people really care about the patient and the family to make sure everyone is safe.

The biggest complaint I have is the rudeness of the on of the staff people named Elizabeth. I then asked a girl named Erica who then helped me. My father is there and I asked her a question and she literally blew me off. I ahve been there and see her talking in a very demoralizing way to other employees in front of the family members. I found out that she is the girlfriend of the maintanence man and this is the only reason she is there. If this is the quality of the staff the center has a big problem. On a good note the nurses that are caring for my dad seem to be helpful...

Do not send your loved one here! Care is lacking and forget it if you need to get your or your loved one's medical records. They will stall and avoid giving them to you when they have made a potential mistake in treatment. The building is falling apart and when my loved one was transferred to the hospital for a possible medication error, they did not send all of her records necessary for treatment and they cleaned out her room within hours, including throwing away some of her belongings without the family's consent. The food is disgusting so we had to bring in outside food on a regular basis. It would often take 30 to 45 minutes for the staff to respond to a call request. Check out the HHS health inspection report and they only received 1 out of 5 stars on their last inspection and was fined by the state of Arizona for violations relating to inproper restraining of patients. I wish I had seen this information before my family member was sent to this facility.

Response: I found staff to be prejudice and the place was filthy. The smell was horrible.

Response: I had the same experience with the african american social worker who I heard talking to someone about the white residents.

Response: I agree 100% now I need to know what to do to get her out of there any help would be appreciated.

Response: My mom is currently there ...Have not seen her as i am ill too . This scares me how can I get her out please.
