07/02/2012 An OurParents User Writes: The care is adequate but the rehab leaves a lot to be desired. I do not believe that they are aggressive enough in their rehab plan for the patients. I think that patients could make more progress if the rehab staff would tailor therapy session differently. Looks to me that they do the minimum required just to bill the insurance company
I think that Tom is rude and that Stacy lacks initiative and imagination in her rehab routines. I think that Debra and Lindsey are pathetic excuses for speech therapists I think that Gina tells tall tales
I think that Monica and Linda should be monitored in their CNA work. I think that they are rude and inpatient and may have potential to be abusive.
I am not confident that meds are distributed properly. For example people with Parkinson’s need to have meds at precise intervals to combat the tremors

Nursing care facilities cater to several types of patients: some patients require short-term rehab while recovering from surgery; others require long-term nursing and medical supervision. In addition, some nursing homes offer specialized care programs for Alzheimer's or other illnesses, or short-term respite care for frail or disabled persons when a family member requires a rest from providing care in the home. Please note that you can help compare nursing homes by looking at the Medicare ratings of a given facility (Medicare has a 5-star rating system for comparing nursing homes). Make sure you know your loved one's Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, and understand how you can use tools like long term care insurance to pay for nursing home care.
