I had my clinicals there recently and the care of the patients was horrible. Many had sat in their own feces for hours waiting to be taken care of, several had skin decay due this over a period of time, one patient had c deff and the cnas were not using gloves to clean the patient due to lack of supplies. The infection had been reported to the nurse several times but nothing had been done yet. One elderly man was being bathed they sprayed his face with water over and over while he was screaming for them to stop. Workers got into an argument in the hall way in front of everyone there observing. Anyone who has a family member, friend or loved one in this facility needs to visit often and demand the care that is required. This is horrible environment and working conditions.

All I can say is that if your loved one is a diabetic, be prepared to go every day and do a full body evaluation yourself because the nurses surely don't do them and if the aides do, they apparently do not report their findings to the nurses. Know this from personal experience. My loved one may end up losing a foot or worse from their so-called care.

If you are over fifty-five and are looking for a more comfortable, enjoyable, and convenient way of life, modern-day senior living may be just what you need. Senior living consists of two components: a new kind of housing and a new way of life. When you've grown weary of lawn upkeep, home repairs, and the daily cleaning and maintenance of your home, senior living is a wide, welcoming avenue worthy of exploration. There's independent living, where you take care of yourself (minus only the cooking and housekeeping), to more intense forms of compassionate assistance, such as in nursing or memory care, available around-the-clock. You are encouraged to examine the many styles of senior living and consider a new, convenient way of life.
