The staff, in particular a so called lady named Lorraine,is very rude, mean and hostile towards the patients and their families, and if you have a concern, rather than address, fix or help you with it, she wants to argue. In my opinion this is the WRONG field for her. In this environment people need kindness and someone who is willing to help them. My mother has been gone from that facility for quite some time now, and God forbid, if I ever needed for any family member to go to another place like this, this is DEFINITELY not the one I would chose, and I would never recommend it to anyone!!!

Patients found wet and lying in their own BM. Also served cold food. Please re consider your thoughts on sending a loved one their. The DHS comes all the time because of complaints.

Please do not judge this facility by what anyone has said in the past. The facility is immaculately clean, the NEW Director of Nurses is very dedicated, professional and an expert in managing the Nursing department at the facility. The Owner of this facility is on board with providing quality care and is working very hard to ensure the facility is moving in a very positive direction. Care has dramatically improved and the staff are very caring with our loved ones. You should not hesitate to check out this facility.

Valley Ranch is a great place for your loved one. The staff does their best to make the residents feel at home. The employees constantly strive to meet needs and are always willing to address any concerns or areas that need improvement. The facility's owners are very family-oriented, therefore this shows in the care of the residents at Valley Ranch. That quality is one that I would look for if I needed placement for a family member of mine.

I walked in.The Director of Nursing said"welcome to the nut house."My mother is here&if I hear them call her a nut,i will take further action. This DON is soooo unprofessional.Thinking hard about taking my mother out&passing word that this place is non compassionate, rude group of people.Im a nurse& thank goodness i am truly compassionate or i would not be a nurse.Get her out of there before the place caves in.Thanks

Response: yes.the DON is the nut

Unfortunately, this facility was the most unorganized, non-compassionate place i have ever visited or worked in my entire life. I felt they just threw things together and never followed up on anything! I know that it is a newer facility and I do hope that in the future they can become a better resident friendly environment!!!!

    Response: you got that right
