This is an awful place for the elderly. I would never consider taking any family member of mine here. They have a rude staff who doesn't pay attention to the needs of their residents.

I walked through the halls, they were dirty, a little woman laid on the floor trying to ge tback in bed, 2 employees working on the "400 hall" walked in and walked out "You shouldn't do that anymore" and left her. They eventually came back, put her in a urine soaked bed and took her call button away. I had to chase down help for her, and give her the call button so she could use it in bad situations, instead of yelling out "Help!" I asked employees for help and they said there was nothing they could do. The beds looked ike the Sal. Army threw them away and Windcrest just recycled them. The rooms were bare, the bathrooms were so small. I watched an elder woman ( i think suffering of dementia?) beg for a male employee not to touch her, (she didn't want to shower with him), she tried to shoo his hands away, and he lauhged at her. I said something, but nothing happened, I wound up leaving, and have currently decided not to send my family member to live there, or anywhere else, I will take care of her, and enjoy her... I can't imagine sleeping comfortably tonite, this was by far unreal to me. No handwashing, no respect of patient rights, HOW THE HECK ARE THEY NOT SHUT DOWN BY STATE!! I plan to fight this, but please don't be fooled by good rating that the facility probably did themselves..

Response: you are so right this place is a pigsty.
