Oral care and hair care is lacking.

If your loved one falls at this facility, be prepared - they will come up with a plan to "DUMP" them at the hospital and then not accept them back. FACT!! Oh yes, and don't dare ask questions.

So far we have been very pleased with the care my mother has received. The staff seems caring and attentive, and we've had a few emergencies in her condition which they handled quickly, and with genuine concern. The best part is she is happy there, unlike a previous home, and she feels cared for. The food is quite tasty and plentiful, and she usually finishes all of it. We are called whenever there is a change or concern of any kind. We visit almost daily, and they seem to give consistent care. She also likes the doctor on staff, and feels he really listens. When she was first there, there was a nurse I felt was stubborn when I voiced a concern over her medication. While the dosage was right, my mom had kidney failure, and it was building up to toxic levels, as it was suppose to be excreted through the kidneys. She finally did take me serious, and called the doctor. She is no longer on staff there anyway, but I learned you must be pro-active at times.
