BAD PLACE! In 3 months my mother got 2 ulcers (bedsore type ulcers) from being left in wet diapers through the night and a huge bump on her head from falling because after yelling for help 4 times and nobody came to help her she got up on her own and fell into the bulky wooden storage bed they had in her room. Food is very fattening, my mother gained 16 lbs in 3 months. Always starches-breads, potatoes and ice cream and desserts...no attention to serving healthy meals, just bulky meals. I filed complaints and they were cited both Class A and Class C citations. I have many more complaints to file and they will be cited many more times if I choose to do so. I had to move my mother out in the middle of the month. Because I filed complaints Elena/Owner took it out on my mother, scolding her in front of other tenants, telling her she needed to move, telling her she needed to tell me to stop, telling her she needed to pay more for her care...everyday, constantly. When inspector came to the facility to investigate my complaints Elena told all of them to say they were ok being double diapered at night so she could sleep (because if they are ok with it then there is no abuse). They all felt like they had to comply because they were all dependent upon her for care. Very hostile environment...I seriously can't say enough BAD things about this place...don't go there! She will lie to get you in the door...she told me she would be getting up at night if my mother needed to go to the bathroom. She didn't!

My family and I would like to highly recommend Adina’s Home Care to anyone looking for a board and care facility. My mother-in-law stayed there about two years until she needed a higher level of nursing care. We were extremely happy with her care. The staff at Adina’s Home Care was very responsive to my mother-in-law’s needs. They made sure she had her medications three times a day, and always made sure her personal needs were met. They tailored my mother-in-law’s meal menu to include the foods she needed and the foods she liked. All the staff was very positive, and worked with us to give my mother-in-law the best care possible. I will always appreciate how they treated her and the care they gave her.

Nick and Illiana at Adina Home Care provided wonderful care for my father when he was unable to care for himself any longer. He stayed at Adina house for over a year. His room was kept clean and neat. Nick helped him shower and dress every day, and Illiana provided excellent food. His favorite was her pasta. The other residents were pleasant as well. When my father passed away in 2010, Nick and Illiana provided support and demonstrated compassion to me and my family. I recommend Adina House for senior care.

I walk past this house almost every day and never see any seniors outside or walking on the block. The picture shown here was not taken in the neighborhood.

Response: They were recently cited for not having activities for the seniors in their care among other things...this is NOT a good place. My mother got 2 bedsore type ulcers and a huge bump on her head from falling because nobody came when she yelled for help 4 times. Bedsores are because she was left in wet diapers overnight because Elena/Owner doesn't want to get up during the night, she wants her rest.
