this place is absolutely terrible! poor management that leads to inadequate staffing which inadvertently puts patients at risk unintentionally by it's employees, but there is a bigger problem here... as an employee, my concerns about the dangerous staffing situation were brushed off by the DSD..that is until I called state to report it! then suddenly we had a full house of staff...but that only lasted enough to get state out of their way I suppose...for family members who choose to place their loved ones here, or any other facility, please ask to see their "census" for the past month or so, this will allow you to see their staffing situation. unfortunately in CA nursing staff to patient ratio is calculated by minimum individual hours per week, so it's not concrete and difficult to calculate. if you have options, please see them before placing your family here!
