I was really worried when the Dr. told me that my mom should go to a nursing home. I thought I would never find a place that I would feel safe and happy to leave my mom. But Windsor Hawthorne was that place. The staff is Amazing, they are not perfect but they care. The Administrator really won me over with his opened door policy. Everyone there takes time to explain things to me and they treat my mom as if she was their own. Such a great place. My Mom only stayed 1 month and the rehab team got her back on her feet!!!!! way to go!!!!

My dad was admitted to Windsor Gardens in Hawthorne and I have found the place to be clean, quite, and caring. I looked at all the star ratings before I went to look at places and I wasn't even going to go to Windsor. But, My dads doctor really wanted me to check it out and I am glad I did. The staff had been nothing but nice. Any issues I had were handled but the social worker promptly and the place is clean. I learned that the star rating really doesn't matter. Some of the 5 star places smell and people are mean. I would rather go with a lower rating but a better quality of life for my dad.
