User Reviews

01/29/2014  -  An OurParents User Writes:

Do not place your loved one here. They have continued to house a convicted sex offender (check address) who is also awaiting trial for assault on 3 elderly women (he confessed). The worst part is they knew this about him and continue to allow him to be around other patients, such as a bedridden unable to speak elderly woman. Do not bring your children to visit as the home does not inform the families.

Basically, they are designed to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing home facilities. When thinking about how to pay for care, assisted living facilities are generally less expensive than nursing homes, if assisted living is a viable option for your loved one.

Senior Centers play a vital role. They help create and environment that encourages a senior to interact with others, get out of the house on a regular basis, and enjoy themselves. They can be an important element of a healthy aging-in-place strategy for an aging loved one. To find the exact services, hours of operation, and qualifications, please contact the center directly.
