We moved my Dad into Oak Fence Senior Living in July 2012. In the little over 2 months he's been there they have let him deydrate, ran out of his meds, treated a dermal w/o notifying me or his doctor, He fell and I wasn't notified, they weren't signing the chart for meds, so we're not sure he got them, his diabetic blood tests weren't being done as needed. The staff is very touchy and there is no accountability. When you first walk in it's a clean and beautiful house, but the care is something that is so bad that social services has been called and we are preparing to move my Dad. I don't recommend any of the facilities run by them!

Response: I would like to respond to this comment in a manner to make it clear that social services were called, but there was no findings of what this person or persons had reported.
Not all customers will be satisfied with the services that are given or provided. But, if we remember to be the best that we can be and give our 110 percent.
We have given all we got and they were still not satisfied, keep your heads up pray for that individual and family and keep moving forward!
Gods Blessings always......

Be careful with this facility Management do not treat employees with respect and overworked them, falling on the customer service and proper care for your family member. Also, if an employee is injured, being a license facility with the state of california, they do not have workers compensation Ins. for the employees. I cant believe they are in business with employees and no workers' Comp. insurance??

Response: I would like to comment on this response, who would know this inside info but a previous employee that was terminated because of dishonesty and stealing from the company.
Be true to yourself and the community!
This was a new company built in 2008 and every company has trials and errors.
We learn from our trials and errors and build to make a better business.
Compassion n integrity cannot be taught to an individual it comes from within!
Keep up the excellent work and customer service for all elderly in our community.
Cherish and take care of all staff and employees.
May God continue to give the owners and management the knowledge to be able to grow and be the best that they can be!

They provide a higher level of service for the elderly which can include preparing meals, housekeeping, medication assistance, laundry, and also do regular check-in's on the residents. Basically, they are designed to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing home facilities. When thinking about how to pay for care, assisted living facilities are generally less expensive than nursing homes, if assisted living is a viable option for your loved one.

Also, OAK FENCE SENIOR LIVING is a Micro community, which means it is a smaller senior community. It is a Residential Care Facility. Some people prefer it for its smaller less institutional setting.
