The following occurred while my mom was at Lawndale Care Center for less than three months. My mom got pneumonia, UTI's, Ceptic from UTI's, and had a mild heart attack. When I spoke with the chart nurse about my mother's condition, I was told she was fine and just had a UTI and she was on medication, instead of checking on her condition, even thought I said she looks real bad. After calling the doctor, the chart nurse finally checks on her, (18 hours later) and the doctor then decides to send her to the hospital. It turned out she was ceptic from her UTI and showed evidence of having a heart attack.
