As with most of these types of places, they can be terrible one year and then pretty decent a year or two later, and then terrible again. We found this to be the case with our parents. The place was horrible when our HMo sent our elderly dad there about 8 years ago--he almost died due to poor care. He was sent there again for rehab again recently and the place was much better, though they rushed him out before he should have been done with rehab. Family meetings to discuss care were rescheduled a lot--decsions made without family knowledge. If you consider this place, see if the management or ownership has recently changed and review howmuch the staff turns over. Lots of turnover is usually a bad sign.
