User Reviews

10/12/2013  -  An OurParents User Writes:

The director/owner sells you on the fact that she is an RN and that by virtue of this your family member will benefit. Well in two years we rarely saw her, only if she was giving a tour to an unsuspecting family. Only contact is with caretakers who have limited understanding of english thus make it difficult to communicate regarding concerns. When concerns were shared with the lead caretaker, he relayed message to the owner who then called and was very defensive as opposed to trying to problem solve. Not completely forthcoming with information such as when my mother fell, twice! Lastly, the facility on the surface looks homey, but the rooms are filthy dirty. The last straw was they shipped my mother with advanced dementia to the emergency room in an ambulance, all alone despite the fact that they could not reach us immediately. They sent some paperwork, but no one to speak for her considering the fact that she cannot talk! She spent several hours in the emergency alone.
