Sarah Short, Director of Residency Planning at Landis Homes retirement communityThe next #ElderCareChat will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 1-2 pm ET with guest panelist Sarah Short, Director of Residency Planning at Landis Homes in Lititz, Pennsylvania that’s located on 114 acres surrounded by Lancaster County farmland. Via the Landis Home Twitter account (@LandisHomes), Ms. Short will lead us in a discussion of the various objections senior loved ones may have to senior living, and sensitive ways to help them come to a place of acceptance with the move.

Sarah Short has a BA in Psychology from Gettysburg College and over 25 years of experience working at senior living communities in Lancaster county. Previously she had been in sales and management at Willow Valley Communities and Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.

Landis Homes serves nearly 900 senior residents who engage in various ways with natural surroundings like ponds, a wooded area, a registered bluebird walk, pollinator bee boxes, and a restored wetland with hundreds of native plants.
