Oldest American ‘Pat’ Thomas dead at 114

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 18 (UPI) — Olivia Thomas, the oldest person in the United States, died this week at the age of 114, the nursing home near Buffalo, N.Y., where she lived said.

Thomas, who was known to her friends as “Pat,” died Monday at the St. Francis Home of Williamsville where she had resided since 2004.

There was no immediate word on funeral arrangements.
