I loved that my loved one was guaranteed a private room, it looked like every room in the facility was a private room. The facility looks and smells nice. You can tell housekeeping is a priority. The therapy at Life Care Center of Aurora is top notch. We were very impressed by the therapists and therapy gyms. The food was also really good. It was not as good as home, but far better than the hospital. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehab or skilled nursing.

Kind of wished I was dead everyday I spent here. A few key people made all the difference. It's nice not being confined to my bed all day. Enjoying life. Everyday is getting better.

Our mother's stay of 1 week was frightful. Medications not administered as prescribed, pic line not flushed so became unuseable, left without assistance for from 30 min-2 hours, unable to get assistance at 3:30 am (even after calling out for help, pushing the call button, and banging on any item she thought would make noise!) due to short staffing, bathroom not cleaned for 4 days, terrible food. Some nurses and a few CNAs are good, but I would never recommend this facility. We sought the quickest move we could get in order to ensure our mother's safety.
