If you care about your loved ones don't send them to Broomfield Skilled Nursing! Three residents were sexual assaulted 8/13. No background checks were the catalyst for this tragedy. Quality of care is poor. They are understaffed, they use rent-a-nurse and rent-a-CNA staffing agencies that have no accountability for the quality of care they provide. The administration and leadership is horrible. Amanda Freed in the financial department is rude, uncaring and unsympathetic.

I wish to Thank You for the wonderful job you are doing. I have had my Father in other places before , but none of them, even come close to the quality of Staff and living conditions at the Broomfield Skilled Nursing & Rehab. Center. You are the BEST.

I have seen 3 nursing supervisor directors and each one was worse than the last. I was unaware until recently that they even had a director. What I saw was a person who doesn’t really care about her staff, and it definitely shows. For example, she sits there and points at her staff and tells them in a very demeaning way what she wants them to do. At least the last one was more hands on! Workers appear very unhappy here, and I have noticed a very high rate of turnover, which when I was going to business school meant that upper administration wasn’t doing their job. The most disturbing thing I have seen up to this point was the tall thin male custodian that fixes things in the building yelled at an employee demanding to know her name because he was telling her not to speak on her cellular phone, he then, to my horror, grabbed her shirt to read her name badge. I’m not sure if she was actually exposed because of this, but I found this very disturbing, and even more disturbing is that he still works there. I’m even more concerned that someone that flies off the handle like that is around frail elderly people. This place cosmetically may look great but fancy décor and fish tanks are no substitute for customer service! I’m sure its very hard for some of these people to give great care when they are being treated so poorly.

Everyone at BSNRC did a wonderful job taking care of my Mother. It was obvious that patient care/ customer service was first on their agenda. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is in need of Long Term Care.

I visit the facility regularly and the staff always speaks to me, is always polite and attending to the residets. They seem very caring toward the residents when they interact with them.

This is the best rehab and ltc facility in north metro Denver. The entire staff is awesome! My family member received the best care while at this facility.

I hope when you are trying to find a place for your loved one you do extensive research. I felt I did for my grandma, but feel I failed. My grandmother was placed in Broomfield Nursing and Rehab and it has been a huge disappointment. I don't know where to begin with the lack of care provided here, it is pathetic to say the least. When I visit, I'm treated so rudely it is shocking. I love my grandma so much and I am in the process of relocating her, but I wanted to take a minute to tell you to what a poor facility this is. If you care for your loved one DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE, it is a waste of your time. I'm in tears everytime I leave this place, not only because of how my grandma is treated but for how I am treated also. I hope in writing this it will save another family the heartache that my family has gone through with this facility. To submit this review I had to submit an OVER ALL rating, that is the only reason it got a 1 star.

I went and visited this place. It was dark, smelled of urine, and looked very understaffed. I saw a patient left alone in the PT room. Their 2010 inspection had 82 pages of violations - many of them very serious involving patient care. We chose to not use them.

I am pleased with the care my mother receives in this facility. They need more staff to help in the dining room. They offer a variety of activities for the residents. They have some very dedicated nurses and CNA's.

I was very dissapointed to see the size of these rooms. The odor (I being in a cleaning bussiness) can be controlled as well. My Aunt has extension cords around for access to outlets and they WHAT!!! 5,000.00 a month.
