Was a patient at the Center at Centennial twice, the first time I was there I would have rated it much higher. It was a very nice place to be, but this recent time I cannot say the same. There is not enough staff to answer call lights in a timely manner, the housekeeping is poor, poor service in the dining room with staff not attending or even asking if I needed help. I enjoy much of the nursing staff and therapists there, they are knowledgable and helpful, but I can also see that they are overworked and short-staffed which ultimately is making the quality of care suffer.

The staff seems inexperienced they keep bringing the wrong food, seem to get names mixed up, will not provide medicine at set times and depend on patients to ask for their own medicine..even when the patient isn't lucid. Do not monitor oxygen levels appropriately.

Response: Quick question... was your Dad seen by Dr Caskavul? Russian lady? She constantly is recommending hospice care for my Dad when he has a specialized disease.. just curious. Hope all is well :)

While the care center is very clean prestine and up to date the care is not. DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER. My dad was "fall risk" and he got out of bed and fell and hit his head. Our family was not notified until the next day and by our father (No staff member said one word until approached) The very next day we went to visit and my father was laying half on/half off the bed and unresponsive. There were no sheets on the bed (dirty sheets were on the floor). When staff were asked about this they stated that "he was out of it" and that they would phone a Dr. in an hour or so. We had them dial 911 immediately!! My father was in a coma. We can only imagine how long he was in this condition!! He WAS NOT there for hospice, but instead Rehab. Would have given lower scores but could not!!

Response: I'm so terribly sorry that happened to your Dad! My Mom and I both have been in a rehabilitation hospital (not this one), and have gone through some of the same, and very troubling issues! I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone, we understand!
