If you are looking for quality care for your loved one, continue looking. This is not the place. They serve Walmart Frozen Pizza all the time. They do not serve quality food. They are cheap. They do NOT do activities. They are all about the money!!! One of the owners told us we would have to start paying more and even though we had a contract on an amount with another owner, they did an emergency room drop off and refused to allow our relative to return and violated state law and did not assist us in finding another location. Do NOT consider this place. Smoke and mirrors. You will end up regretting it.

For who ever wrote this, The name to the assisted Living Next door Is Pearl Assisted living LLc and is owned by Michael Yates. I run a business that the state surveys and we receive high marks from them. It will doesn't matter if he left me with bills or not we take care of our Residents like family. The front doors of Goodwin Manor is locked hopefully not to be reopened again.

Allan Goodwin lies and manipulates. He has acted as if he cares more about his own pocketbook than about his residents. He uses the "You're scaring my residents" card to keep people from visiting, including people whom the resident wanted to see. In at least one case, he solicited the Elizabeth police to threaten a child with trespassing, and that was after he wrote a letter of lies to the judge but the judge gave the child visitation rights anyway. (He ignored the court order.) His neighbor to the north (Pearl Manor) was once a business partner, but the owner claims he left him holding the bag for a large sum of money.

Offering assisted living, adult day care, memory care, continuing care, hospice, rehab and respite services, Goodwin Manor gives you a variety of services and amenities in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Offering help with the activities of daily living, along with health services, nutritious meals, and a range of other features, assisted living allows seniors to thrive. Why choose an assisted living community? Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to more satisfaction with life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly apartments and a busy social calendar. Communities have additional services that include 24-hour supervision and security, emergency response systems, access to licensed nursing care, chef-prepared meals, and assistance with grooming, dressing, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, social programs, and local transportation are typically provided as well. A unique—and growing—care type that requires an especially deep respect and honor for residents is memory care. Memory care is different from the care provided in assisted living, requiring a team that is professionally trained in memory care. Residents live in private or semi-private residences with twenty-four-hour support. Three healthy meals a day plus snacks are provided, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. Structured activities designed specifically for memory impairment provide cognitive stimulation. Facilities typically have secured areas, such as walking paths and gardens, for residents to enjoy. Other support services include continence care, medication management, behavioral therapies, and assistance with bathing and grooming. Part independent living, part assisted living, and part skilled nursing home, continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) offers a tiered approach to the aging process. CCRC accommodates seniors' changing needs as they age, offering all levels of services, support, and housing. Typically, short-term rehab and memory care services are offered as well. Residents move to a continuing care Community when they are active and independent. As they begin to age, and want more assistance, they don't have to look for a new home. The next level of care is ready for them right in their own community. Having familiarity with the facility and the staff makes the change more comfortable. CCRCs offer many lifestyle programs such as educational, recreational, and social events and activities. Goodwin Manor helps seniors find the worry-free lifestyle they want. In this community, seniors have complete assisted living, adult day care, memory care, continuing care, hospice, rehab and respite services as well as a friendly, supportive community. Within assisted living communities, you'll find help when you need it, with the goal of supplying the aid required to stay as self-sufficient as possible. Memory care necessitates the highest level of support, memory enrichment programs, and increased security for your loved one. Continuing retirement care is dedicated to making the phases of the aging process as smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible. It achieves this through offering long-term, comprehensive assistance, from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care. Call today and discover how Goodwin Manor is the perfect fit for seniors requiring assisted living, adult day care, memory care, continuing care, hospice, rehab and respite services.
