My uncle was there in October 2015 for what we expected to be a short rehab from a short hospital stay. The treatment and nursing support was terrible. He lost 6 pounds in the first week. No leadership or continuity in the rehab plans and nursing support was horrific. I will never use them again. I've sense heard from several other people they had a similar very poor experience.

My loved one was there for four and a half months. The care she received on the third floor nursing was awful. When calling for help, she often waited 30-45 minutes. On more than one occasion, feces were left on her body after she was supposedly cleaned. She was sent to the hospital several times because of infection, which she got from the Heritage Club because her care was so bad. Many of the nurses and aides could not understand enough English to understand what she was asking for and to make themselves understood. The doctor rarely saw her, did so only when loved ones begged him to do so, and spent less than five minutes with her when he did see her. Her prescribed medication to her that she should not have been taking because of the interaction between those meds and other meds she was on and because of medical conditions that she had. During her last hospital visit, she begged not to be returned there, only to die less than a week later. The doctor had doubled the dose of one of those meds on the day she died

Executive Director unwilling to fix problems their staff created for my parents. Very defensive and added stress to an already stressful move to my parents. Very unhappy with our choice to move my parents here.

This place was awful!!! It came recommended by my dads case worker at Sky Ridge medical who I found out later gets kickbacks~ not caring for the individual and their needs. The place is beautiful, and the food is good~ the only thing good about it. From the moment we brought my dad there, there were problems. The first night, the room wasn't ready for him, no supplies, were told that was up to us, the tv didn't work, and the whole place smelt like urine. The care was AWFUL!!!! No one cared, and no one ever looked at their charts to even know what care to give my dad. When I would ask them why he wasn't given his meds, I would be told "he's a new patient, I haven't read his charts"! I mean isn't that WHEN you should read a chart? I could go on and on in the 5 days my dad was there, there were too many incidents. We removed him as fast as we could get him out of there. His health drastically went down during his time there.... I think the lack of care totally made him decline. He passed 2 weeks later. And when he lefft SkyRidge the Doctor told me he had at least a month or two! All I can say is STAY AWAY!!!!!! I gave it ones, although I want it to be -1, there just wasn't an option for that!

This facility is absolutely horrendous. No continuity of staff. No one seems to know what is going on with a patient. My mother was kicked in the stomach by a CNA. Stay away!!

Very upset with the staff they do not communicate at all..A Dr. came in and stated that my mother is going down hill and she is not eating & that they wanted to put a feeding tube in her stomach-What!..she had toast, bacon and eggs just yesterday.Dr also stated that she has not walked..What! she is getting up everyday walks about 10 to 20 steps and carries on a conversation with her speech ther. the dr does not know what he is doing..Our family is upset about the lack of communication that the staff has.

Staff is short and abrupt. They can't be bothered it seems. I was so disappointed for my father. We will never return. The DON is horrible. It made us sad that they treated our Dad and our family the way they did. If they don't like there jobs get out of nursing and do something that doesn't involve people.

There is no consistency of nursing staff and communication amongst the care team is non existent.

This is noted on the 6450 s. boston, Greenwood village facility
The nurses at this facility are stressed, and very rude including the The D.O.N. (s) If there is a problem they join in on the situation as a negative instead of addressing the problem to a positive outcome. They have very low tolerance to being friendly. I can only imagine how they are to their other patients. Just approaching a nurse or D.O.N. is very uncomfortable. I would never have one of my parents or grand parents in this facility. Maybe they have been hiding their reputation for long enough and it needs to be addressed. Your testomonies are bias and only tell the covered up truth. I came in with my aunt to visit her grandmother on several occassions and i was appalled at the attitudes of the nurses and the D.O.N (s)

The ALF nurses are completly the opposite, there must be less stress at on the ALF.
