My brother is a resident there with a traumatic brain injury. I am sickened by the continuous change over in the staff. The new DON walks around in a snoot, thinking she is all that with her pretty blonde hair, has not the experience to fill a med cup, but they hire her anyway. I don't care that this facility is a 5 star, that means nothing to me. The new DON has fired many good staff, cut the nursing hours, and the residents have suffered because of this. I am sick and tired of going in there and finding my brother, dirty, stinky, sitting up for hours at a time, and in my opinoion neglect! I am tired of this treatment and have now gone to the measures of calling the state to look into this matter. I had a CNA tell me that the new corporate manager, "Jay" is a penny pincher and that they are told to lay off people so he can make money. I think there is a manager named Bruce who dictates to the administrator, Pete, what to do, who to fire, and it is so wrong. I used to think that my brother was getting the best care...I no longer think that. I am so disapointed in this place. The care is terrible, the meals are horrible, the DON, and the Administrator talk a good talk, but they are full of BS. They tell you what you want to hear, and the same things happen all the time. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!
