Assistance includes help with daily activities, personal care, and respite. Home Health of W Colorado also offers other care solutions for seniors. Independent living is designed for seniors who are self-reliant but who want to enjoy a low-maintenance life. Tailored for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as retirement villages, 55+ communities, and senior apartments. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with a range of community amenities, services, and programs tailored just for seniors. You’ll enjoy your own space, so you can bring your favorite belongings, such as furniture and personal items. With independent living, residents won't have to worry about maintenance, mowing, or other chores associated with home ownership. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. You'll find many social programs and community amenities, such as gardening, bridge, bingo, fitness programs, book clubs, and planned outings. In-home care is ready when you or a loved one needs it. Skilled professionals come to your home. This choice is perfect for those who prefer to stay in their homes but who need some help with the daily activities of living.
