If you plan on moving here, make sure you have someone on the "outside" that will take you places, we are in the middle of nowhere, in a field, and unless you have your own car, family or friends, your gonna go to the grocery store ONCE A MONTH (for an hour). Also, be sure to have good renters insurance because this place looks beautiful, but it was lowballed when they built it, and everything is falling apart in it. There's flooding, the elevators don't work a lot of the time, we've gone through the cooking staff already three times, and believe me, they are more concerned about budget than the residents being hungry and coming down for a snack at night (NOT!) The management is pretty much clueless, and that suits them just fine. But, if you like pretty, you'll get pretty.......

Description of Park Regency Thornton in Thornton, CO

Park Regency Thornton provides you with the very best in assisted living, memory care and respite through a warm, friendly community. Assisted living, geared toward individuals who want to live with some level of independence but occassionally need a little assistance, is the fastest growing, long-term care option for seniors. Why choose an assisted living community? Research suggests that seniors who live near their peers and have a variety of social activities feel a greater sense of well-being. With assisted living, you'll enjoy senior-friendly homes and a welcoming staff. Other services you'll find include around-the-clock supervision and security, access to professional nurses, emergency call systems, help with daily living, and nutritious meals prepared by chefs. These communities typically provide housekeeping, laundry, transportation, and a calendar of social events. Memory care offers the highest level of support, memory enrichment programs, and increased security for your loved one. Memory care is different from the care provided in assisted living, requiring a staff that is trained in memory care. Residents live in private or semi-private studio homes with twenty-four-hour supervision. Three nutritious meals a day plus snacks are provided, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. Structured activities designed specifically for memory impairment offer intellectual stimulation. Communities typically have secured areas, such as walking paths and gardens, for residents to access. Other important services include behavioral therapies, continence care, medication management, and assistance with bathing and grooming. Reside at Park Regency Thornton and enjoy a relaxing lifestyle, where residents can trade stories and forge new alliances. In this community, assisted living, memory care and respite services are provided. The help you'll find at assisted living communities is offered as necessary, with the goal of giving the support services required to stay as self-reliant as possible. Memory care offers the highest level of support, memory enhancement programs, and social opportunities, all in a secure, warm setting. If you are looking for the perfect assisted living, memory care and respite services for you or a loved one, call today to find out more.
