This is a wonderful place - until your parents need assisted living. And then, be prepared for them to wait a very, very long time. While they struggle with day-to-day living in their no-longer-appropriate independent living apartments. Meanwhile, ACTS sees fit to build...more assisted living units? Hardly. On the contrary, they're sinking their money into swimming pools to attract the next generation of retirees. So that the cycle will repeat. So ask some hard questions about the planning they've done to accommodate you when you'll need them to provide what you'll have paid for over many years. And make sure you're satisfied with their planning - before you fork over your nest egg.
