User Reviews

04/09/2013  -  An OurParents User Writes:

My impression on entering this Home is that it is most like a home, not a too-pretty, nor a too-new facility but a residential home, similar to many in Bradenton. It is set in a residential neighborhood on a quiet street w/a 25 mph speed limit.
The employees who are present the most, demonstrate patience, open friendliness toward patients and relaxed care & concern, while unobstrusively vigilant of patients' behaviors and safety.
The smell of home-cooked meals fill the air daily, as in a home. Likewise, laundry is washed so frequently/daily that patients' clothes are clean as well as the freshness of the home.
Toward family, the staff are welcoming, yet allow newcomer's time to build trust in them through the staffs' open manner. Any issues I've brought to staff re the family member's care are addressed quickly, in a timely manner.
As the spouse of a nearly full time resident of Select Group Homes, I feel confident on bringing my husband to stay here, with most all my concerns re my husband's well being left at the Home, when I walk out the door.
