I did an intern at the east wing and its a horrible place and the staff isnt any better.. i feel bad for the family being scammed by this place they are abusive to their patients and i know ALOT of complaints were made after my class left to the state.

Response: Hey - think you got the wrong place as this is an Independent living facility that is decent and no patients live here only residents - The facility was clean nice and decent until it was recently bought by new owners - The new owners don't care about anything but themselves. I live here and I don't like what they are doing and going to do - They will probably raise the rents. The management lied to us in their initial meeting saying they are keeping the staff but one by one each staff member seems to be walking from this management company that does not care. My friend applied for VA benefits and the original staff team was assisting her however the new management team from Tampa says no - you have to pay someone to help you - That is a scam to pay for Vet benefits, I hope this new management company fails and leaves soon - They stink - I am moving with a bunch of others

Response: Agreed Heritage Park West Independent Living Facility was sold December 31, 2012 to a company called Valstone Partners and Senior Management Advisors Inc based out of Clearwater FL and Michigan. This new company has run the facility down. They did upgrade things by hiring a bunch of contractors to renovate. They did indeed raise the rents. Half of the facility is an Assisted Living Facility where they are accepting residents at too high a care level they can't handle. They promise all kinds of services to residents and families but do not deliver the services. They are putting 2 residents in a studio apartment for 3600.00 per month. Yes grandmom gets to have a roommate - another grandmom. The place now smells like urine - They also have yet to pay their contractors and the contractors have attached liens and judgements - I hear they have the worst reputation in the community. They also are saying the buildings are up for sale already. The management comapny is rude and nasty and has no clue how to run a facility. The Executive Director is Helen Altieri and she just stays in her office behind closed doors and not available to any resident or family. Rude and nasty - The resident and families do miss the previous management staff tremendously. They feel they were extremely dedicated and loyal and helpful. It was true family.

Response: Addendum This is NOT Heritage Park West .. It is Called Grand Villa West and is run poorly and a disgrace to senior living = Don't be fooled by phoney marketers and scams - the rates are high and the services promised not there =

Response: Wrong Heritage Park West has 196 apartments for Independent Living and 176 Assisted Living apartments at their East Property on Sims Road. They also had a nursing facility called Liberty Inn which had 68 beds and five star rating by the state of Florida. They sold the medicare certificate of need which closed the facility May 2011. The Heritage Park Communities were sold to a group of pathetic investors with Valstone Partners and Senior Management Advisors based out of Clearwater. They are notorious for hiring contractors to fix up a facility but NOT paying their contractors. History of Judgements and Liens against them. They have no ethics or morales and have no clue how to run a facility - Their management style is a dictatorship and they treat the residents and families like they are stupid. They need to return to the west coast of FL and pay their bills before buying other properties and not paying their bills.

Response: Heritage Park Communities was sold on December 31, 2012 to Valstone Partners and Senior Management Advisors Inc. they call it Grand Villa of Delray West and Grand Villa of Delray East. They have a horrid reputation in the community.
