Kept my mother there due to advanced Alzheimer's.
Visited many times and have never seen anything thing being cooked. Not even the smell of food cooking.
My mother steadily went downhill after she was admitted here.
I feel like they starved her until she was so weak from malnutrition that her body shut down.
She lost fifty pounds in two years at this @#$% hole place.
I hope the devils that run it get what's coming to them.

I currently have my mother in this facility and have nothing but great things to say, other than they will love your family members to the end. My mother was diagnosed several years ago with alzheimers, since then I have placed her in several communities, none of which have provided the level of care that Victoria's Place's Staff has provided. I have never had any issues with medications or any other services provided, they are more than willing to show any and all paperwork when i asked and they never try and hide anything. So I will say that anyone who thinks otherwise of this facility should actually visit it!

VICTORIA'S PLACE is an assisted living facility. Assisted living facilities are an apartment-style habitat designed to focus on providing assistance with daily living activities. They provide a higher level of service for the elderly which can include preparing meals, housekeeping, medication assistance, laundry, and also do regular check-in's on the residents. Basically, they are designed to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing home facilities. When thinking about how to pay for care, assisted living facilities are generally less expensive than nursing homes, if assisted living is a viable option for your loved one.

Also, VICTORIA'S PLACE is a Micro community, which means it is a smaller senior community. It is a Residential Care Facility. Some people prefer it for its smaller less institutional setting.

Also, VICTORIA'S PLACE is an in-home care provider. In Home care could be either medical ("skilled") or non-medical ("custodial") support services delivered at the home of the senior. "skilled" service providers who usually provide various medical care needs and "custodial" care providers who provide services for daily living such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation but may also extend to assistance with transportation, paying bills, making appointments, and simply being there to provide companionship and emotional support. Home Care services are generally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are sometimes paid for directly by the client or through a variety of public and private funding sources such as Medicare and/or Medicaid. Make sure you know your loved one's Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, and understand how you can use tools like long term care insurance to pay for in home care.

Also, VICTORIA'S PLACE facility provides Alzheimer's care. This means it has special safeguards for wandering seniors, and caregivers are trained in handling dementia behaviors.

Also, VICTORIA'S PLACE care provider provides hospice care. Hospice care is an infusion of home care and facility care provided to benefit terminally ill patients and support their families through their tough times.

Our Facility is located in Deltona, conveniently located four miles from I4. We host eight residents at any given time, in a beautiful five bedroom, two bath home. We provide activities for all residents to participate in. Since we are a small facility we provide one on one care for all of our patients, in a home like atmosphere form our trained and certified staff. We also do not believe in moving the residents when they become terminal, while utilizing hospice we continue care, and provide the best quality of life.
