The management team of this facility is top notch. Especially the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing. They are both very attentive and I feel like the two of them take time to listen to the families. They recruit staff who have a passion for this kind of work. I am so glad I chose Arden Courts for my mother.

This is the kind facility we heard about where residents are neglected. They are not providing what they claim the are as a memory care facility because of inept and inexperienced staff. Very limited staffing. Nursing/Social worker director has neither credential. Director doesn't understand what she is doing. My mother suffered greatly with broken bones from falls which occurred too frequently during her year there. She was allowed to wander aimlessly without suitable intervention. Lost 20lbs down to 88lbs when sent to ER for the last time. Doctor made us wait frequently for a week after a falls or injuries when we requested pain management. He refused and put her on PRN. She had Alzheimer's and without someone advocating for her to receive pain relief we frequently saw her in pain. Questionable accuracy with what was written in the chart. They are getting away by not being truthful. Horrible reasoning from the doctor; he was afraid she'd get an ulcer if on pain management. We just wanted her to be comfortable. Many of her personal items, gifts disappeared even with her name on them. Lost her glasses and no attempts to replace. We have reported them to protective services.
