05/24/2012  -  An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes:

I am only reviewing the nursing home of this facility. The rehab went well for my mom, but once she was transfered to the long term wings, it was appauling. In our experience of one month here, there is little to NO professionalism amoung the CNAs, They could not walk slower or show less interest in the care of the residents. My mother was left in an isolated, vacant room by someone so when we arrived to visit we could not find her. When we asked the staff where she was, no one knew or cared, they did not even help us look for her. My mother has some dimentia but she is not a vegitable. She can carry on a coherant conversation. I feel terrible that we trusted these people with her care. I would not recommend anyone to allow your loved ones to go here. There are a some good staff there, the social worker and the director of nursing, a few others, but they are drowning in so many problems with other uncaring employees that I can not imagine working there and trying to make a difference. They need to close it and start over. 80% of the staff I encountered i would not hire to care for my pets. My mom's experience there did her more harm than good.
