As an employee and having loved ones residing here (also with the knowledgethat most of these rrebuttals regarding the DON Angela and current administrator Nicole have most likely been written by each other posing as family members) i can say definitively that most of the staff is VERY hardworing stressed, underpaid, overworked, and quite litteraly verbally accosted on a daily basis, all while hiding the deplorable work conditions to take care of the patients we are there to comfort and protect. Ot is an excruciatingly unfair burden to know you may be reprimanded or terminated for doing your job within yourscope because of your superiors inability to follow their scope or code of morals when charged with someones health. Please do your research, there are multiple terminations. Of people working. Very hard to prptect patients rights, loosing a position of so called power (where DON's and adminstrators masquerade as doctors changing medicines, illegally practing without a license) is apparently where morals are sacrificed at the cost of your loved familys expense.

I work here now and love this place. The poor building is old compaired to others in the area but do not judge a book by its cover. The food is much better than other area facilities and for the most part the staff is amazing. No facility is perfecr but I truly believe the nurses are top notch. 8 out of ten CNAs are amaziing and Angela is not a horible person. I have found her to be very understanding. I love working here and am excited about coming here full time after a year of part time. The staff to paitent ratio is always pretty low. State surveys are great. I would put my family members here if needed. Best of all the paitents. Best most fun group of paitents. When Im here I dont feell like Im working. I have a good time at the Oaks!

My neighbor recently made the Oaks of Kissimmee her new home. The staff treat her with such respect and love I know she is in great hands. My visits to the Oaks are always pleasant. The facility is clean and the staff are so kind and helpful.

The Oaks of Kissimmee took great care of me after my hip replacement! The rehab team was exceptional and got me home in a jiffy. I could not have had a better experience.

I have visited the Oaks on many occasions and have spoken to Angela Bradnick ( The Director of Nursing)I found her to be kind and caring. Angela walked me and my Mother around the facility and explained the daily routine to me. I am Africa American and at no time felt that Angela was racist. I know that in a week or two when my Mother is admitted she will be treated with respect and dignity under the care of Angela and her staff.

My mother has been in the facility for over five years and I have always been very happy with the support the Director of nursing has given our family. Any time my mother has a change, I have gone spoken with the director of nursing Angela. She reviews all of my mothers medications and how she is doing and makes me feel better. Under Angela's direction I know that my mother and the other residents are getting the care they need and more. I am black and Angela is not a racist, far from it. She is kind, understanding and always willing to help.

The Oaks provides great care to my mother. She has been a resident there for over a year now. I couldn't be more happy with her care! The staff are very responsive to my suggestions and show more love to my mother than I could ask for.

I am saddened by some of the reviews written here at this time. A few years ago my auntie was confined to the Oaks, at that time everyone was very kind and helpful to us. My auntie smoked and did so a few times that we were there with her. There was one particular person that stood out and was kind, knowledgeable and particularly helpful. her office was in the back of the facility she had long gray hair. I think her name was Phyllis. She did not seem to mind our questions and did not evade any subject or concerns about our auntie. I do wish to thank them for the exceptional care she was provided. Sometimes when different people come along and changes in staffing occurs more attention is needed in the staffing department to weed out racism and bigotry.
