Our family can not praise Highlands enough from the well trained empathetic staff to management in the front office. They made it possible for our loved one to live and be able to come home 2 years longer then expected. We have had several bad experiences with nursing home/rehabs but there is nothing but good things to say. The rehab was beyond measure. The RN,s CNA,s were all excellent. Usually there is at least one staff you may not gel with but I can honestly say at Highlands I found everyone to be great. Thank you Highlands for taking care of our loved one!

My mom was at the Rehab part of the facility. The nurses were helpful. However, the communication between myself (her daughter/caregiver/POA, was not good at all. The place was clean and they seemed on time for her meds, but it took me calling them for a list of meds, no one called me with changes and or questions.

Great DON and administrator, much better than Oakbridge Healthcare. Mom prefers Highland's Lake DON to Oakbridge DON. We will always choose Highland's Lake.
