My sister has only been in this facility for two days and has already had all of her things stolen. She cannot walk and is not able to get to the restroom herself. She calls for assistance and it takes forever. I also know of another elderly man that used to be in the facility and he went for some testing. When he got back, he had everything stolen including his shoes. I do not feel this is an environment that I want to leave my sister in. We are making other arrangements for her and her care. Why do we have these facilities that treat people horrible? I think this place needs a lot more caring individuals to run properly!!!!

Most things are about average except for the absolutely terrible food. Many residents eat out as often as they can afford. All they serve is fat, sugar, salt and drugs. No fresh vegetables or fresh cut up fruit (many residents can't peel any fruit), no fiber. No real juice, all loaded with high fructose syrup or worse. Good luck getting real eggs (mostly powdered). They even go so far as to water down the soups to save money. Everything has quite an abundance of salt though. My Mom went in healthy and came out sick on many types of meds. High blood pressure, digestive system problems, both upper and lower. After several weeks at home with edible food, she's doing much better. Off almost all meds. If she has to go back, it won't be there. Also some theft.
