I personally worked in this facility for over 13 years as for every company they have their ups and downs. I have currently relocated to another city and I absolutely miss working here. The care that is offered in great. You can not let one bad apple spoil the bunch. I have worked in various department starting from the bottom up. I would put my loved one here over any place I have worked at or done internship with.

Run fast in the other direction. Facility is filthy. Nurses are overworked. Resident care is minimum.

Worst thing I did was put my loved one into this place

My father was discharged from Florida Hospital East and transferred here, without us knowing. Upon arrival I found my father incoherent in a bed, that was broken, no railings and three other people in a filthy room. No one around to assist and for the two hours I was there, the gentleman next to my dad's bed could not even get a CNA come to change his diaper and clean his sores. The rooms were filthy, disheveled, broken furniture, etc. Nurses and CNA attendance was lacking, and whem I got the attention of them, I was told to call 911 and take my dad out because they "still had not admitted" him, even though he had been there for about 2 hours. Needless to say, I did call 911 and had him taken to another hospital, where they found him to be in critical condition and is still presently (almost a week since discharge). I wouldn't put my worst enemy here.
