Bridgeview Center has been a very good switch from Wellington Place over a year or so ago. Mom was very under weight when we got her there. Right out of the hospital from falls and a broken hip. They have gotten her healthy again and they do care. Is there a perfect nursing home, I doubt it, but this one is pretty @#$% close. Wehave come from nightmares to sweet dreams so to speak. The staff is friendly and They are gracious to us and our concerns. Thank you Nurses and staff for putting up with me my sister. Our over concern is probably aggravating but you help us deal with it and we have learned alot. You litterly helped us every step of the way so far...Thank you

This place may appear in better shape in regards to other facilities however BEWARE for your loved one... Especially if you don't intend on visiting everyday to make sure your loved one is being cared for... The staff is quite friendly but being friendly and giving care are two different things. My loved one has Alzheimer's this facility has not bathed her since the 20 th of this month and today is the 31st they say se refused but she is not in the right frame of mind hence why she's in a facility that is suppose to be caring for her. Her clothes are constantly delayed in being brought back to her regardless of their 24 hour return they claim they have. She has a porta potty next to her bed and we constantly have to complain to have it cleaned. Her entire hall smells from it and her poor room mate has to deal with the smell in her room as well. There has also been an incidence where she had no bottom on in her bed with no sheet on it as well..I guess when they tell you that they dress their customers everyday they don't exactly mean everyday.. I can not wait for her to be transferred into another facility. The only thing I wish is for the stag that is caring for my loved one gets the same type of care when it's their turn to be in this position. These people should be ashamed of themselves!

My father is a resident of this facility in the secure unit and the staff consistently shows professional and compassionate care 24 hours a day, not only to him, but to his family as well. They go out of their way to make sure my father is cared for and that he has everything he needs. He is kept clean, fed, and engaged in multiple activities and they keep his family apprised of his ever changing condition and needs. I've also noticed on several occasions that the same level of care is provided to all of the residents at this faciltiy.

You hear about how bad nursing homes are, but Bridgeview is nothing like what you hear about. Even the maintenance personnel interact with the residents and show compassion and care towards them. No one is ever ignored or talked down to.

At a time where it is devistating to have a family member go through the horrors of dementia and alzheimers, it's comforting to know that my father is being cared for by a professional and compassionate staff. I have complete confidence in this facility and staff to provide the 24 hour care that my father needs.
