Gardens Court provided wonderful caring for our mother
The Gardens Court in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is a superior rehabilitation center and health care provider. They truly deliver the “Care” that is too often missing in “Health Care” today. Our 93 year old mother recently moved to their facility for rehabilitation services after a serious medical set back. A stroke eleven years ago left her half paralyzed and almost without the ability to talk. Although she required an extraordinary amount of help to get through each day, the staff not only graciously met her many needs, but lovingly got to know her and to be her friends. They were always kind and patient and unfailingly went the extra mile. We are thankful that the Life Care Centers of America provided an exceptional in-house staff physician who immediately met her complicated and dire medical needs. When she died earlier this week with the support of the Hospice of Palm Beach and Broward Counties, the Gardens Court made her passing easier for her and our family with their quiet respectful care and concern. Their level of compassion and quality professional care was exceptional. They cater to the individual needs of both their patients and their families. We enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who is looking for either in- or outpatient, rehabilitative services, therapy, short term or long term nursing care, or any of the extensive list of services provided through their association with the Life Care Centers of America. We love and thank them all.

An observation of the nursing staff was interesting. Most businesses strive to employ personnel that reflect the demographics that they are serving. However, Garden's Court nursing staff is mostly black while the patients are mostly white. CNAs and fodd service workers were also black. My suggestion is that the personnel relect the population served and a more diverse staff is hired.

Please do not send your loved one to this joke for an assisted living facility. Quality of care is horrible. Nursing staff is grossly inadequate and lacks any type of professionalism. The doctor attends patients on-call and told me she is only there when necessary, maybe once every 3-4 days. They almost killed my loved one! It's a good thing we went there on a daily basis. This place should be rated "Deadly"!! Beautiful on the outside, horrible on the inside.

wrong meds given or meds omitted half a dozen times, doctor visited only once in two month, not enough staff to patients (my mother had to wait a long time for help to/from toilet), nurse's aides didn't know how to transfer very well, nearly dropped her several times. rehab people good, food good. nursing and lpn's not enough and not good enough.
