11/21/2012 An OurParents User Writes: Community Convalescent Center is an average sized, not for profit, nursing home with 120 beds based in Plant City, FL. At last check, the facility had 116 residents indicating that it is 97% occupied which is about average within the state of Florida. The provider accepts both medicare and medicaid programs, and provides resident counseling services.

04/16/2012 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: This place in terrible. My step father was in their care and they had him laying on a bed with a rubber mattress with no sheet. the result was bed sores.
He was of sound mind when in their care and he stated that they rountinely throw his medicine in the trash and would not place it in hismouth for him. "it wasn't their job" was their comment!
This place smells of urine and they don't seemt o care for their residents what so ever.
we were down for a visit and ended up removing my step father from this hell hole immediately !
