I am a legal guardian of one of the residents. I am completely satisfied with the care of my ward. The food is healthy and taste good and plenty for the residents to eat. The facility is CLEAN and pleasant smelling. The staff physician sees the residents monthly and addresses their complaints. Home health comes in by recommendation of the physician. The staff is also wonderful and caring to everyone. They treat the residents with respect and the residents are always clean. The furniture is clean, fresh smelling, and not stained. Residents clothes are washed folded and returned the correct person. To sum it up, my ward has lived here for three years and we are both happy and satisfied with the care Pleasant Manor provides.

The staff is ill-informed & not properly trained. They lack cpmlete enthusiasm for their jobs and responsibilities. The manager & the owner are highly unprofessional and are NEVER available on or off premises!! The facility is old and not constructionally sound. Total unsanitary conditions. Some of the residents are allowed to be physically abusive to other residents. The septic system is not adequate and the facility smells like sewage at times due to the backup of raw sewage in the toilets & showers. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Response: Pleasant Manor ALF was sold last 12-22-2009 and now under new management. New owner and new administrator knew the problem before and has corrected all of it. Everybody is welcome to come and give Pleasant Manor Alf a visit to see the big difference.
