Willow Wood is the worst nursing home I have ever seen! I have worked there for years and the only reason I stay here is to try and help the residents from the terrible treatment and neglect. There was a short time we had a DON that knew what she was doing and really seemed to have made a real difference in the place but when she left, it went back to the way it always have been. I have reported many cases of abuse to the adminator and she covers it up. I would not bring my dog to this facility to die!! If you love your family, you would stay clear of this place.

Willow Wood is the most friendly, compasionate nursing facility that I have ever been in. It was a really hard time when we put my father in a Nursing Home. However, the staff and administration were such a help to me and my family. The facility itself is small but the staff is family oriented and the people make you feel. The administration will walk you through the process of putting a loved one in a facility and leave you feeling reassured that you've made the right choice. The quality of care goes above and beyond any other facility that I've toured. My father was there for quite awhile and the ENTIRE staff made my family feel secure in knowing that his last days there were filled with the people he enjoyed being around. It's facilities like this one that make a name by the compassion they show towards the people they take care of.

Response: According to State regulations, In a facility that is 100 beds or less it's not required that a Social Service Worker have a degree. Obviously if you had done more homework, this would have been mentioned as well. Just because someone does not have a degree does not mean they don't know what they're doing. I am a Social Service Worker in another facility and DO NOT have a degree either. It doesn't mean I don't do my job, I do it quite well. As far as the Nurses? I'm sure they know what they're doing too, they do get surveyed each year and the facility is still in existence which tells me that they do , in fact, know what they're doing.

Come to find out. The Social Worker at WillowWood has No Degree to be a Social Worker. They gave her that position when they fired the last social worker. She use to work in the front office answerings phones and pay roll. They also hire Nurses without showing proof of their Nursing Liescence. I wouldn't recommand this facility at all!! Some nurses there don't know what they are doing!

Response: If you look deeper, you will see a lot of people in positions they are not qualified for at Willow wood!
