Wonderful Community! Dad is a resident in the independent living community and he loves it! The apartments are just the right size for him and his budget. Love the family owned atmosphere.

My 91 year old Mom moved into Ashton Independent Living in March of 2015. My brother and I researched many facilities with the help of A Place For Mom (a great organization). We finally choose Ashton - and knew it was the place from my first phone chat with Curt, Jr. This is a family owned and operated facility - started by Curt McGill, Sr about 20 years ago. He and his two sons - Curt, Jr and Max - run it and found them all three to be very approachable, friendly and helpful. One day - I was there for a meeting with a lady who was helping us with Mom's VA Benefits (a service provided and paid for by Ashton) ... my wife was at a store about 20 minutes away - and I had the keyfob to our car - thus she was stranded. About that time - Curt, Jr walked by and asked how I was doing - i explained my dilema - and he said no problem - I will take her the key ! That was just normal stuff from everyone at the facility. Eventually - Mom deteriated and we moved her to Assisted Living - which is pretty much run by a lady named Mandy. Mandy has been with the McGills since the beginning - and she was wonderful. She loved Mom and Mom loved her. She runs a tight ship - but she loves her residents and cares about them. We encountered no staff that we did not love. They took care of Mom very well during her final days ...alongside hospice .... and they loved her right up to the end. Mandy cried with us the day Mom passed away. I can't say enough good things about this facility and the folks who own, operate and work there. We were very pleased and will miss them all greatly.

My father is currently at Ashto Hall. He was diagnosed with demitia 2 years ago and we were unable to care for him. We searched many places in the Atlanta area and this was our favorite. They are family owned and operated and that was our selling point. I would recomend Ashton Hall to anybody.
