I was not pleased with this place. They did not seem to have enough people tending the patients and we walked in more than once to find my relative half falling out of bed with his feeding tube out. They did not dress the patients each day to give them dignity. Not pleased at all. I was very surprised that they had a few stars in their rating.

My mother was transferred to this facility for short term rehab ONLY directly from the hospital. She was lucid when arriving and the first evening I had her walking in the hall with me. When I asked that she have a walker to get to the bathroom that night as I left, I was told "no"; she could get one the next day from rehab. The very next morning I arrived at 9am and found her in the same clothes that she had on when she arrived, was asleep, and in a dark room. She had not eaten, and when I tried to arouse her, she was confused and extremely groggy. Not only did they give her meds that were NOT ordered and verified by her attending physician, they said I was lying when I called them on it (although I was there, personally saw what she took, asked what each pill was and got a list of them). Needless to say, she was immediately moved via ambulance back to the hospital---although the "acting administrator" tried to keep them from entering. She was there only 24 hours. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. I agree with other posts that all they want to do is keep patients in a weakened state with drugs of "their" choice. Wherever you or your parents have to go for short or long term rehabiliative care/skilled nursing, please be their advocate or have an advocate for you.

This facility provides the worst care ever. I work through an agency for a family member. The smell is ridiculous, my only patient is always hungry, not only her bed but she is always wet upon my arrival. The staff walks around as if they never have anything to do. I see them placing the other patients trays in the room, and when feeding time is over they pick up the untouched trays. The staff have no problem in eating off the residents trays. I have seen an aide take a resident in the shower room, and in 2 mins, they are out the shower room back in the residents room. Why and How is this facility still operating? It's unbelievable! The only way I can submit this review is by selecting a rating, if I could, I would select any ratings for "Autumn Breeze" Healthcare located in Marietta, Georgia, on Sandtown Road.

I give this facility a failing grade after they let my mother die because she was so doped up and out of her mind that she refused to take her regular medicine. She was even a diabetic, we told them of the symthoms, and they ignored them.
