The only reason I give 4 stars on staff helpfulness rather than 5 is when you need something you have to wait your turn sometimes, but certainly that is to be expected. To be more realistic,, I must say the nursing staff and aids are excellent and give their all and give it with great care and respect for the patient.
We have never found any evidence of mistreatment of our loved one or any other patient. In fact, the patients seem content and well cared for. There is even a service dog on site that gives attention to any patient that wants her attention.
All staff is attentive to the needs of all patients. If a maintenance person sees a patient about to fall out of their chair, they are going to stop and help.
Our loved one has advanced Alzheimer's and has gotten the very best of care. Aids keep the patients either up, or turned every 2 hours, and diapers and beds clean and dry. No redness on skin or bed sores. Unless a patient is sick or just wants to be in bed, they keep them up and engaged.
The place is spotless and no unpleasant odors.
I have asked many of the patients how they fell about their experiences there, and though nothing can replace "home," they have nothing but good things to say.
There is not modern equipment in therapy,, although the therapists are excellent and dedicated.
Everyone at Rosemont has been wonderful and helpful and we have been very pleased.

Staffed with caring individuals who do the best they can to ensure quality of life for my mom. I would be at a loss with them

This home is horrible! The staff are all people who couldn't cut it at a place that actually REQUIRES working with empathy. Residents are kept from communicating with relatives who call, by being dismissed with excuses for why they can't bring them to the phone, and they speak to the residents the way an abusive mother speaks to her child. They don't treat the residents gently or with any care or compassion.
