Terrible terrible place. If we hadn't acted on our own and moved our mother to Manor Care, she would have died as a result of the appalling incompetence of the rehab staff. And our mother was the victim of theft - cash, personal items. Criminal negligence. Do NOT place your loved one here.

Description of Church Creek in Arlington Heights, IL

Offering skilled, warm assisted living, independent living, memory care, skilled nursing and continuing care services, Church Creek is located in a picturesque community of Arlington Heights, IL. Assisted living is a good solution for seniors who require a little help but desire to preserve their self-reliance. Assisted living is advantageous for seniors. Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to a happier life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly residences and a warm staff. Communities have additional services that include 24-hour supervision and security, emergency response systems, access to licensed nursing care, chef-prepared meals, and assistance with grooming, dressing, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, social programs, and local transportation are typically provided as well. When you are autonomous but want to be in the company of your peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy amenities and services geared towards seniors. Intended for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as senior apartments, retirement villages, and communities for 55 and older. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with an abundance of community amenities, services, and programs tailored specifically for seniors. Your personal belongings, such as furniture and favorite mementos, can move to your new home with you. With maintenance, groundskeeping, and housekeeping taken care of, seniors can focus on goals and passions instead of the daily demands of home ownership. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. Community services and amenities usually include fitness clubs, dining facilities, swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, social events, and more. The staff at Church Creek has a special place in its heart for Alzheimer's patients. On-site specialists work hand-in-hand with families and loved ones to ensure that residents receive the comprehensive treatment they need. Memory care is different from the care provided in assisted living, requiring a team that is professionally trained in memory care. Residents live in private or semi-private residences with twenty-four-hour support. Three healthy meals a day plus snacks are provided, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. Structured activities designed specifically for memory impairment encourage mental stimulation. Grounds typically have secured areas, such as walking paths and gardens, for residents to enjoy. Other support services include continence care, medication management, behavioral therapies, and assistance with bathing and grooming. Imagine the mixed feelings of pleasure and relief to be a fully independent senior knowing that as you age you will live in the type of community that best fits your physical and/or mental condition. This is the case with a continuing care retirement community, which is specially set up to allow seniors to move through various stages of living, from independence to assisted living and, if needed, to medically focused nursing care. Church Creek helps seniors find the worry-free lifestyle they want. There are assisted living, independent living, memory care, skilled nursing and continuing care services available in this community. Within assisted living communities, you'll find help as you need it, with the goal of supplying the aid required to stay as autonomous as possible. When seniors are autonomous but want to be in the company of peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy a variety of amenities and services. Memory care gives a more direct level of care, memory enhancement programs, and social opportunities, all in a secure, warm setting. Continuing retirement care is dedicated to making the phases of the aging process as smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible. It achieves this through offering long-term, comprehensive assistance, from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care.
