Great physical care, and the staff treat residents well. However, there are no additional services such as Occupational Therapy, or any activities to keep the brain active, which are pertinent for the quality of life. Structured activities and engagement are crucial! They have a beautiful kitchen which could be utilized for cooking activities with the residents, but this has never been provided. My mother is there and I feel she is rotting away. So much more could be done, and appropriate staff trained in working with the elderly are needed to provide structured activities. This would show respect for those we love and improve the quality of life for those in the end of their years.
